In early 1998, Guangzhou Haid Feed Co., Ltd. was established.
The Guangdong Haid Animal Husbandry and Aquaculture Research Centre was established, dedicated to the R&D, production, and sale of aquatic premix feed.
In April that same year, Haid expanded into Hubei Province, founding Guangzhou Haid Feed Co., Ltd. Jiayu Branch in Jiayu County to begin producing complete feed.
In 1999, the establishment of Wuhan Haid Feed Co., Ltd. marked the beginning of Haid Group's journey towards standardised management. The company set forth its core founding principle—“Customer First”—and its business ethos of “Driving Growth through Technological Innovation and the Delivery of High-quality Products and Services”.
By 2001, Haid had captured the largest share of China's aquatic premix feed market.
Between 2002 and 2003, Haid entered South China's aquatic feed market with the establishment of Guangzhou Panyu Dachuan Feed Co., Ltd., Shantou Hailong Feed Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Haiwei Feed Co., Ltd. This expansion helped drive the regional shift from pellet feed to extruded feed in aquaculture.
In 2003, Haid Group was formally established, integrating sourcing, finance, and production centres into a cohesive management model that combined specialised group centres with its branches and subsidiaries.
The same year, Guangzhou Haibei Biological Co., Ltd. was founded to focus on the research and production of aquatic microecological agents. In May 2004, Haid Group introduced water quality enhancers, further enhancing its service system.
Between 2003 and 2005, Haid Group accelerated its regional expansion, establishing a presence across Central, South, East, and Southwest China.
In 2006, Chairman Hua Xue published an internal article titled Our Mission, which outlined Haid's positioning as a service-oriented enterprise. The article defined the company's core missions, development strategies, and the "Five-Year Plan (2007-2011)", signalling Haid's ambition to develop both livestock and poultry feed and aquatic feed.
By 2007, Haid Group had expanded into the aquatic seedling market with the establishment of Hisenor and Bairong Seedling Co., Ltd.
On 27 November 2009, Haid Group successfully went public on the Shenzhen A-stock market under the stock name "Haid Group" with the stock code "002311".
Between 2010 and 2011, Haid Group refined its business management model by establishing regional divisions, including those for Central and South China, as well as specialised departments for shrimp and pig feed. This period also saw a successful transformation in service marketing, which significantly contributed to the company's growth. By this time, Haid Group had expanded to include over 40 branches and subsidiaries, positioning itself among the top five in China's feed industry. Its aquatic feed, animal healthcare products, and aquatic seedlings all ranked first nationwide.
During this period, Haid Group received numerous accolades and certifications, including "National Agricultural Leader", "National Feed Processing Technology R&D Sub-centre", one of "The Top 100 Enterprises in Guangdong Province", and "High-tech Enterprise of Guangdong Province".
In 2011, Haid Group made a significant step in its international expansion by partnering with Sheng Long Bio-tech to establish Sheng Long (Vietnam), marking its successful entry into overseas markets.
In 2012, the Operations Committee of Haid Group was established, marking a significant step towards standardising operational management at the company. That same year, the company received several prestigious accolades, including "National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialisation", "National Key High-tech Enterprise Sponsored by the Torch Programme", and "National Enterprise Technology Centre".
In 2013, Haid expanded its portfolio by acquiring the Guangdong Modern Agricultural Group Research Institute and Guangzhou Heshengtang Veterinary Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. This marked the company's entry into the R&D and production of animal vaccines, veterinary drugs, aquatic microecological agents, and veterinary microecological agents, laying a foundation for its growing presence in the animal healthcare sector.
In 2014, Haid Group introduced the strategic direction of "Stronger Service, Bolder Marketing" and expanded into the African market. The company also received the "2014 National Technological Invention Award (Second Prize)" for its innovation.
In 2017, Haid Group was honoured with the "Award for Annual Outstanding Contributions to Aquatic Science and Technology in China", and its Guangdong Provincial Academician Workstation project passed the acceptance inspection.
Haid Group was the only agricultural and animal husbandry enterprise included on the "Forbes Asia's Fabulous 50" list.
Haid Group was recognised with the "Golden Bull Awards: Top 150 by Investment Value".

Haid Group led globally in the feed sales volume, achieving a total of 10.7 million tonnes, including 3.1 million tonnes of aquatic feed.

The national standard Formula Feed for Grass Carp and the industry standard Feed Material - Brewers Dried Grain, both developed under Haid Group's leadership, were officially implemented.
Haid Group successfully hosted the Service Marketing Conference and established the Pig Feed Development Committee.
Haid Research Institute was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to establish the "Enterprise Key Laboratory of Microbiological Resource Breeding and Utilisation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs".
Haid Group was included on the "2019 Top 500 Leading Enterprises for Agricultural Industrialisation" list.

Haid Group's project, Key Technology for Interfacial Microbial Enhanced Treatment of Combined Waterbody Pollution and Its Application, won the Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Province (First Prize).
The Good Manufacturing Practices ("GMP") workshop undertaken by the Veterinary Drug Research Institute was awarded a Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices for Animal Drugs and an Animal Drug Production Licence.
Haid Research Institute's "African Swine Fever Virus Nucleic Acid Detection Kit" passed the test and assessment by the China Animal Disease Control Centre.
